Seventeen years old Yanbeni N. Shitio was crowned with the coveted beauty title of Miss Kohima 2007 ...
...at a glittering Miss Kohima Beauty Pageant 2007 held here this evening at the State Academy Hall under the aegis of Hillfusion, Kohima. The captivating event was held under the theme “Beauty and Music” where 11 contestants in total vied for the crown. Parliamentary Secretary for Cooperation R. Khing was the chief guest of the event.
19 years old Dziesevinuo Yhoshu and Nuvolu Ringa, 17 years, won the Ist and 2nd runners up title respectively.
In sub-titles, Waisangla Longkumer, Keneithejau and Zavizonuo were declared Miss Photogenic, Miss Perfect Ten and Miss Beautiful Skin respectively.
The show also witnessed enchanting special numbers from Naga Idol 2007 Rokovotuo, Asenuo Metha, Kim, Vikethonuo Sekhose, Vikrieno Nakhro, Seyiekhrietuo Luho, Kenino Nakhro and friends, Mhalesinuo, Asalie Peseyie etc. A fashion parade and dance also marked the show. The judges for the show included Azi Therie, Akhotso, Longshilo Ezung, Along Longkumer and Anilo Khing.
