Maruti Cervo Launch In India, Maruti Cervo Price, Details

NEW DELHI, INDIA - Here is good news for all those who are fond of small cars. Maruti Suzuki, the biggest manufacturer of small cars in the country, is all set to launch the latest toy from its stable, the Maruti Cervo. Although no exact date of the launch of the Maruti Cervo has yet been given out, a tentative date for the Maruti Cervo launch in India has been set at sometime around the months of May or June 2010.

The Maruti Cervo is expected to be priced at around 1.5 to 3 lacs, although it is being stated that the price may even come down to 2 lacs. In any case, the price tag is going to be ridiculously low even in comparison to the other cars of Maruti Suzuki.Even before the Maruti Cervo launch in India, there are ample speculations about the Maruti Cervo price. It has already taken up the place of the Maruti 800, which, besides being the first economy car in the country, has so far been the cheapest car. Now it is being expected that with the launch of the Maruti Cervo in the Indian market, there will now be some stiff competition for the Tata Nano, which took over the market with its compelling tag line of being the only "People's car."

It is possible that with the launch of the Maruti Cervo in India, the auto manufacturing company is trying to soar to those heights of success that it had with the Maruti Alto, which became the family car, and the Maruti 800, which is scheduled to be taken off the market in 2012. Looking at the Maruti Cervo price, it seems pretty likely it would succeed.

9-year-old girl becomes 'world's youngest mom'

A nine-year-old girl in China has reportedly become the world's youngest mother after giving birth to a boy by Caesarean section.

According to the 'Daily Express', the unnamed girl was brought to a hospital in Changchun when she was more than eight months pregnant, and two days later she gave birth by Caesarean section to a boy weighing six pounds. Despite the girl's age and potential for medical complications, both the mother and baby are doing well, the British tabloid said.

The family has apparently refused to discuss the circumstances of the pregnancy but had reported it to police. Some reports suggested the girl had been raped. In fact, in China, sex with a child under the age of fourteen is an automatic rape conviction.

Police were said to be trying to establish who the father was.

Young pregnancies are said to be on the rise in China. About 30 per cent of recent abortions in a Shanghai hospital were carried out on schoolgirls, the report said.

A 12-year-old girl is thought have become Britain's youngest ever mother when she gave birth in 2006.
