Bansal flags off new Shatabadi train between Chandigarh and New Delhi

Chandigarh, Jan 14 (ANI): Union Railway Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal flagged off a new Shatabadi train between Chandigarh and New Delhi from the Chandigarh Railway Station on Monday.

This train will leave Chandigarh at 11.40 in the forenoon and reach at New Delhi at 3.00 p.m. In its return journey, the train will leave New Delhi at 7.15 p.m. and reach at Chandigarh at 10.35 p.m.

The new Shatabadi train will from Monday to Saturday. It will not run on Sunday.

The residents of this city had for a long time been demanding an afternoon Shatabadi between Chandigarh and Delhi.

The Chandigarh-New Delhi Shatabadi will take 3 hours and 20 minutes to cover the distance between the two stations. (ANI)
